Bethlehem
is about 6 miles from Jerusalem. Bethlehem means "house of bread". The Church of The Nativity is a major attraction
in Bethlehem, built in the 4ht century by Emperor Constantine and marks the traditional spot where the manger was and
where Jesus was born. The Shepherd's Field where angles appeared to announce His birth is just outside the city.
Bethlehem is also the birthplace of King David and therefore is know as the City of David. "For to you is born this day
in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord". (Luke 2: 8-12)

West Bank Wall
the wall separating the West Bank from Israel began as an effort to separate Israelis and Palestinians, for security reasons. However, as it severely restricts
free movement between the two regions, the wall is a controversial topic — particularly in the Bethlehem district, which is home to 170,000 Palestinians.
